STACEY ANN

FOUNDER &

PRINCIPAL TEACHER

Stacey has been in the Performing Arts industry since the age of 3. She trained at The London School of Musical Theatre and subsequently had a long and successful career within the industry.

Stacey has appeared on stage in London's West End,  Touring theatre, Pantomime, in short films, commercials and also as part of BBCs The Apprentice.

In 2017/18 Stacey choreographed and assisted with the production for a West End show which received outstanding reviews.

Stacey has a passion for Drama therapy in which she is now qualified. She has listened and shared personal stories with friends and family, and began talking to people whose lives had been affected by mental illness. Stacey realised that these things can be really daunting for adults to talk to children about, so with this along with her passion for performing arts she decided to create Esteem Theatre Academy. Stacey wants to help children and young adults build their self esteem and confidence as well as build and extend skills for those natural born performers.

"Drama therapy applied discretely into my lessons helps children and young adults develop greater self-esteem through drama exercises. It lets them express themselves in a safe and validating environment and gives them an alternative way of communicating and expressing their fears and other difficult emotions"

Dylan has always had a passion for Theatre as well as Music. He’s professionally trained in Musical Theatre and some of his mentionable credits include: The Royal Albert Hall (London) both in 2013 and 2014 and Performing at the NIA (Birmingham) in 2016, 2017 and 2018, once alongside Tony Hadley!

In 2021 Dylan was Accredited a higher Distinction for his Diploma in Level 2 Music Performance, he’s played in orchestras in the past, but this is his first time being a Musical Director, and he’s enjoying every part of it! Since September 2021, Dylan has started his Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Technology. The upside to this is Dylan creates all his backing tracks for his orchestra as well as the cast to sing to.

Dylan is a multi-instrumentalist, originally a pianist and coached his ears so he can play by ear, but in recent years has taught himself how to play Bass Guitar as well as Percussion. Although being a musician and a performer, Dylan’s biggest passion is technical theatre and his future career aspirations is to work within theatrical lighting design.
